Meena learned the art of weaving from her grandmother at the age of 12. For years, her work was only sold in local fairs at minimal prices. Through our platform, her handloom sarees now reach customers across the globe. Today, Meena not only supports her household but has also employed two other women in her village.

Ramesh – Wood Carver from Saharanpur

Biography

Ramesh comes from a long line of wood carvers, but declining demand had forced him to work as a daily wage laborer. Partnering with us revived his traditional craft. His wooden jewelry boxes and wall panels are now shipped to buyers in Europe and the US, restoring pride in his family’s heritage.
